One Form of a Universal Curriculum

Stay tuned for a download of my Inspired Teachings.

The Course in Miracles has shaped our life profoundly.  Every aspect of our life has been touched by it, and every healing modality we have ever learned has no meaning apart from it’s central message of forgiveness, which, like everything it teaches, completely redefines traditional ideas in a fresh and practical way to peace.

The Course is a transmission. If you are drawn to it, like us, it may become your companion for life, taking you beyond it’s one year workbook curriculum, beyond its pages, and into a way of life that is ever deepening.  It’s messages are timeless, and they guide us through time into eternity.  They have become a part of us, and they have paved the way for many, many lessons learned with great gratitude and joy.

It touches everyone we come in contact with, and even those we haven't met directly, because no one is ever healed alone. The ripples of healing go out far beyond our tiny spheres.

Wisely, it states that it is only one form of a universal curriculum. A curriculum which we all must willingly learn somehow, one way or another, whatever path we choose. Not everyone will need a Course in Miracles.  Yet for us, it is nonetheless a symbol of the love which called to us and to which we answered.  Its wisdom guides all of our work, formally and informally. Its message is one of universal healing and awakening, not another theological doctrine or dogma of any kind. The entire three books is uncompromisingly summed up in its short introduction:

This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite. This Course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way:

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
